It’s election day here in the US, if you haven’t voted already, please go vote!
In honor of election day, you should vote for your favorite.
Your favorite blog post!
If you’ve been following along, the blog has been going for more than four years with this being the 226th post. Let’s take a look at the top five and you can vote on your favorite (write-ins are also accepted!) This is based on the last 12 months of data on how many views each post got.
Coming in at #5 we have: I Was Today Years Old (AKA: Old dog, new tricks) 2023
This one is particularly relevant because I am headed back to the very same conference next week. It’s in Phonix this year and I’m super excited for all the science geekiness.
A strong #4 was: Science is Always Right (AKA: WTF) 2024
Science is my thing, it’s how I give my clients the best information on how to kill better and faster. Science can be confusing though. So you need to read into it, like this paper on how “termite treatments don’t work”.
Top three now with: Hold Your Breath (AKA: What doesn’t kill you…) from back in 2021!
Look, pests are resilient, it’s what makes them hard to control and it’s what keeps me in business. However, knowing their limitations helps us out. Plus, this one had acorn ants, which are the coolest little ants!
For #2, I got some HP fans with: This isn’t the Deathly Hallows (AKA: Everyone’s on a deadline) 2022
I often say I can connect anything with entomology and pest control. So when I had a death in the family, I of course turned it into a post!
You all surprised me with #1: Roses are Red, Mites are Too (AKA: What should we do?) 2022
I mean, I think it was entomologically awesome, but what I think is cool and what you think is cool are often two different things!
